“Bloomframe” Window Turns Into a Balcony, by Hurks Geveltechniek

The “Bloomframe” balcony is a clever design of a window that can transform into a balcony. Its manufacturer Hurks Geveltechniek announces it is now available on the market in The Netherlands.

Bloomframe is a safe and affordable building component made of steel, glass and aluminum that consist of three components: technique, frame and electronic control.


Its size, material and colour can all be changed upon request although the maximum width is of 3 meters (about 3.3 foot). The façade element can be produced in several transparent and closed materials. The adaptable design gives architects and builders considerable freedom with its use.
