He then tracked south of the city to fly alongside Ipanema Beach, Copacabana and the famous Sugar Loaf Mountain, before pulling his parachute and landing safely on the beach in front of the Copacabana Palace hotel.

“Project XRW: Flying Dreams over Sebastian” Video, by Raise the Sky

Here is the latest video from the Project XRW (eXtreme Relative Work), that aims to perform a record of the largest mixed flying canopy-wingsuit flock.

While the wingsuit skydivers are in freefall and the canopy pilot is under his open parachute, the flyers can even have a conversation and link up for extended periods. Cutting edge wingsuits slow freefall time, and small, aerodynamic parachutes accelerate their pilots’ descent speeds without compromising safety, allowing this stunning achievement.

Heart Breathing

I know meditation to be such a powerful tool for bringing peace in the daily life. But I am such a social bunny that I cannot make time for it every day. This short retreat is a great deal for such times, as well as a simple formula to get into the practice of meditation. “Heart breathing” is a technique that can be very renewing.

~

Sit comfortably.
Close your eyes.
Notice your breathing,
but don’t try to control it.
Feel your chest expanding and contracting.

Now imagine the breath is flowing out of your heart with each exhalation and pouring into your heart with each inhalation.

Don’t think about anything.

Just feel the breath flowing in and out of your heart.
Imagine the breath is pure love.

Do this for 5 to 10 minutes, then slowly open your eyes, get up, and move on.
Remember the feeling throughout your day. Then do it again tomorrow!
